Benin Bouge
The head office
The NGO Benin Bouge’s head office is located at Abomey-Calavi, a 22km town from Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. The whole development policy of the Bouge’s institution is thought up by a young multidisciplinary team ensuring its effective implementation. It houses the administration’s offices with a staff of eight members including four women.
The Training Center
It is the main action tool at the height of the NGO’s field «Integration of young people into the work environment and inclusive agro-economy ». With a multidisciplinary team of 13 people, the Centre for Education and Skills Development (CESD) located at Sékou in the commune of Allada has all the appropriate logistics to ensure each year the accommodation and the supervision of 60 Young people from all the communes of Benin. The fruitful educational sessions embracing several animal and vegetable speculations, agro-food processing activities and entrepreneurship in agro-business, defines the Bouge Centre as a suitable place for for providind an accompaniment to various people according to their needs.
Recognized and approved by the Ministry in charge of secondary education and technical and vocational training, the Centre Bouge hosts every year hundreds of students from public, private and agricultural high schools who come for professional immersion internships. It also hosts foreign trainees from the sub region countries.
Swiss Bouge
Human and financial resources are a major challenge to facilitate the realization of the vision of an organization engaged in the collaboration to development. If the first ones are available and easily mobilized on the spot, the seconds are not. So a way should have been found to achieve that. That was how Verein Bouge was created in 2009 to help along the mobilization of the financial needful resources for the projects’ implementation in Benin.
With a board of directors of five members, which is chaired by E. Werner Külling, a man whose experience in the collaboration to development is no longer needed to be proved, Swiss Bouge plays a decisive role in mobilizing Financial resources for the implementation of practical projects to achieve the Organization’s vision in Benin.
There are five members in the Swiss Bouge’s Board of Directors: A president, a Vice-president, a secretary and two members.
